Obverse: Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette on bowl, and spiral behind ear, her hair drawn across forehead in parallel curves.

Reverse: AΘE before Owl standing right, head facing, tail feathers represented in single prong, olive sprig and lunar crescent in in upper field to left ; all within incuse square.
